Whether you are looking for a social event to meet new people, or just getting together with friends to practice English, Spanish or French, our Murder Mystery Dinners provide the perfect alternative to the classroom. During the dinner strangers will be talking, laughing and scheming in a foreign language like the best of friends in no time.
Our small guest list format (max. 15) allows more intimacy between guests. You become a part of the mystery, instead of feeling like you are just listening to another classroom lecture. Be prepared to discover how cunning your friends REALLY are!
Unlike many classroom activities, our guests are allowed to determine their own fate. How will you talk to the other guests? How will you discover who the murderer is? Your decisions will have consequences! Of course, our dinners are not just about solving a murder. It is about developing your language skills in a unique and fun setting.
- All guests will receive a personalized invitation in the post along with their character and a list of the other guests.
- Our host will guide you through the dinner, so there is little or nothing to plan or prepare for.
- Language-events.com will provide some vocabulary and expressions before the night of the dinner.
The cost of the dinner is €50 (€35 students) and includes:
- Personalized invitation
- Vocabulary and expressions list
- 3 hours of guided experience by a native language speaker.
- Complete dinner including Prossecco, starter, main course, wine, water, and coffee.
The dinner will be held at the Palestro 29 restaurant on Via Palestro, Padova.
Language-events.com only asks the following:
- A 50% non-refundable deposit
- You wear a costume based on the period of the murder (i.e. in the 1920s or 1960s)
- You make your reservations at least 3 weeks in advance.
